National Small Industries Corporation or NSIC is an undertaking of Government of India under Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME).NSIC is a Mini Ratna PSU introduced by the Government of India in 1955. The primary objective of NSIC OR National Small Industries Corporation is to promote the products of micro and small enterprises. The NSIC registration charges are generally based on the turnover of the enterprise as per the latest financial statements. The following are the registration fees:

After the submission of the NSIC Application and its approval, the enterprise will receive NSIC Registration Certificate. The NSIC Registration Certificate granted to the Micro, and Small Enterprise is valid for two years. The certificate will be reviewed and renewed after every two years by verifying continuous Commercial and Technical Competence of the registered Micro & Small Enterprise in the manufacturing or producing stores for which it got registered under NSIC.
To increase government purchases from small-scale enterprises, the government introduced the Single Point Registration scheme (SPRS). MSMEs can get registered under this scheme and get exempted from the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) in Government Purchases. Earnest Money Deposit(EMD) is taken from the bidder to assure his sincerity in a bid.
