To ensure proper control and administration, the State of Goa is divided into 8 ward offices, namely, Panaji, Mapusa, Bicholim, Ponda, Margao, Vasco, Curchorem and Pernem. The overall tax administration is controlled and monitored by its Headquarters located in Panaji, capital city of Goa state.

CGST or Central Goods and Services Tax is imposed on intra-state supply of goods and service and is collected by the central government. When the location of the supplier and the buyer is in the same state, then it is called intra-state supply of goods/services.
State Goods and Services Tax is imposed on intra-state supply of goods and services. This tax is imposed by the state government. The tax collected goes to the state government.
Integrated GST is a tax levied on the inter-state supply of goods and services. It is governed by the IGST Act. In this, the seller collects IGST from the buyer and the tax collected is divided between the central and state government.
This applies when services and or goods is consumed in the union territories of India. Under the UT GST, the revenue is collected by the government of the union territory.
