Steps for GST registration in Gujarat

The steps for GST registration in Gujarat are:

  • Visit the official website of Commercial taxes department of Gujarat[1].
  • Select on new registration under the services tab.
  • Fill the requisite details and click submit.
  • TRN (Temporary Registration Number) will be generated.
  • Log in with the TRN number to complete the application form.
  • Submit the details of the type of business & the details of the promoters, partners or sole proprietor as the case maybe.
  • Then submit the details of the authorized person to file GST returns.
  • Upload all the necessary documents.
  • Click on save & continue.
  • The application must be signed digitally.
  • Click submit.
  • ARN will be generated after submitting the application.
  • After the verification of the documents, certificate of GST registration will be issued.

How to download GST registration certificate online?

The steps to download GST registration certificate online are:

  • Visit the GST portal[2] and log in using the ARN.
  • Select view or download certificate from the drop down menu under the user services.
  • The GST registration certificate will be downloaded.
