The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), vide the Public Notice dated 19th August 2022, introduced the “Settlement Scheme, 2022” henceforth referred to as “the Scheme” in accordance with Regulation 26 of SEBI (Settlement Proceedings) Regulations, 2018.
The Scheme provides a one-time settlement opportunity to entities which have executed trade reversals in the stock options segment of the BombayStock Exchange (BSE) in the timeline from 1st April 2014 to 30th September 2015 and against whom adjudication proceedings have been initiated and are pending before any forum or authority.
