The Government has once again extended the due date of filing of annual financial statement by one month from 15.02.2022 to 15.03.2022.
Ministry of corporate affairs has given companies a month’s time more to file annual financial statements and returns for the financial year 21 without any additional fees.
Initially, the due date was set to expire on 15.02.2022, but through an official order MCA has extended the last date of filing till 15.03.2022. Annual financial statement in form AOC-4 and consolidated financial statement in form AOC-4 CFS certified by a chartered accountant can be filed until 15th March this year. No additional fee shall be charged. Further, MCA also provides extra time to companies filing statements in extensible business reporting language (XBRL). In the case of small and one-person companies, the filing date for final and abridged annual returns has been extended from 28th February to 31st March.
