On 26th September 2022, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) issued Circular AFD/ P/ CIR/ 2022/ 125 directed towards the Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs), the Designated Depository Participants (DDPs) and Custodians, and the Depositories (NSDL and CDSL) in regard to statingthe Modifications in the Operational Guidelines for FPIs, DDPs and EFIs for FPIs registered under the Multiple Investment Managers (MIM) Structure.
Prior to the issuance of the particular Circular, SEBI issued Circular MD/FPI&C/CIR/P/2019/124 on 05th November 2019, stating the Operational Guidelines for FPIs, DDPs, and EFIs in accordance with the SEBI (Foreign Portfolio Investors), Regulations 2019.
