22 NBFCs surrendered their registration certificates

The Reserve Bank of India has stated that around 22NBFCs, including big names such as BNP Paribas India Finance, Swiss Leasing and Finance, and Available Finance, have surrendered their registration certificates. The central bank has revoked the Certificate of Registration of these 22 companies as they decided to surrender their registration. Now, these entities cannot indulge in the Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) business.

Currently, Essel Finance Home Loans Limited surrendered the CoP handed over to it by National Housing Bank and subsequently, it has been cancelled.
