NGOs perform a variety of services, humanitarian efforts for the different sections of the society &amp; take grievances from citizens to the government. This article describes the Section 8 Company Registration procedure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NGOs can be registered under any of the following laws in India-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Trust <\/strong>under Indian Trusts Act;<\/li><li><strong>Section 8<\/strong> Company under Companies Act;<\/li><li><strong>Society <\/strong>under Societies Registration Act.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Things to know before NGO Company Registration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The following things must be kept in mind:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Obtain DIN- Applicants are required to get DIN by filing Form DIR-3.<\/li><li>Obtain DSC- proposed directors should provide Digital Signature Certificate because the forms have to be signed digitally.
