Hence, a supply of service is denoted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who Should Register for GST?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Although bloggers, YouTubers and other freelancers should register for GST, yet not everyone is liable to do so. This limit is the prescribed threshold limit of service\ncategory under the GST Bill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the limit is Rs 10 lakhs for\nspecial states category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Interstate Supply <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>GST is mandatory for anyone who makes\nan interstate supply of services. If any blogger or freelancer makes supply\noutside his state, then he is liable for GST registration. Registration is\ncompulsory irrespective of the amount in a transaction against such services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Earning from outside of India<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As per <strong>section 24 of Central Goods and Service Act<\/strong>, if a blogger or any other freelancer receives payment form a foreign state, then he needs GSTIN. GST number is mandatory for receiving international payments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is the Rate of GST for Bloggers? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As discussed above, bloggers belong to the service category under the GST bill. This category attracts 18 % GST on all services made. Hence, blogger, YouTuber or any other freelancer will also follow the same tax slab of GST<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What are the Requirements for Registering Under GST for Bloggers?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Bloggers or freelancers will need to provide certain information about their business and themselves for GST Registration.
